how do i replace a throttle cable on an mtd 2 stage snowblower

the throttle cable on my mtd snowblower is not connected. it has a 5hp engine, not sure of the model. it starts up great but stalls when i engage the blades and wheels. after closer insepection, the throttle cable is not connected.
